Trust to roll out University Application Drive in JTG District

The John Taolo Gaetsewe Developmental Trust in association with WiseUp Foundation will from today, 12 - 15 October 2021, roll out an outreach programme called University Application Drive within the JTG District. The programme will benefit the current cohort of Matriculants from 10 identified schools around the district.
This programme aims to motivate learners to pursue their studies through career education and knowledge about programmes they could potentially qualify for, as well as the different institutions that offer them. Learners who qualify for NSFAS will also be provided support. More to that, this programme is a social intervention programme that aims to introduce youth in low-income areas to opportunities that exist within key sectors of the economy.
The programme will today start at Remmogo High School in Maruping and close the day at KP Toto High School, the remaining 8 schools will be visited by Friday.
